  • Work alongside RMS qualified engineers and professionals in project teams to develop your skills and experience
  • Be reimbursed for your study fees
  • Have continued employment subject to satisfactory study and work performance

Paraprofessional positions are advertised through online career websites, the RMS website and through local Sydney and regional NSW newspapers. Click here for more information.

There are several areas for paraprofessional work, each with a clear career path and structured training and development program.

Road designers in training work full-time with experienced RMS designers while they study towards an Associate Degree in Engineering (Civil). Road designers in training use computer-based programs to help create strategic, concept and detailed designs for road projects such as motorways, roundabouts and intersections

From special events planning and management, to assisting in analysing traffic flows, this is a challenging opportunity to work in an exciting and growing field.
