Obtaining records

Personal licence and/or registration (motor vehicle) records

Records dealing with driver licences, other than public vehicle licences, are kept by Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority) and contain details such as traffic offences, class of licence, date of issue, renewal payment details and changes of address.

Registration records available relate to motor vehicles during the time they are owned by you. However, you are also allowed to verify the ownership of a vehicle if you are able to supply the name and address of the owner. The response to these enquires will be limited to a "yes" or "no" answer.
